التعليم الحقيقي لا يبدأ من المنهج، بل يُستمد من الأرض القائم عليها
في سرعة ما بنيناه، كسبنا كثيرًا، وخاطرنا بأن نفقد ما لا يُعوَّض. لسنا عاجزين عن بناء المدارس وصياغة السياسات وقياس النتائج. لكن القدرة شيء، والخيط المتصل الذي يربط الأجيال ببعضها، أمر مختلف. والسؤال الذي لا يغادرني هو: هل لا يزال تعليمنا متصلًا بما عرفه هذا المكان قبل أن تصله المناهج المستوردة؟
الواحة، والصحراء، والبحر، والجبال، والفلج، والقصص المتوارثة، ولغتنا الأصيلة، وطرق المراقبة، والملاحة، والبناء، والذاكرة الجماعية. أجدادنا كانوا يكتسبون علوماً جديدة كل يوم من خلال تحدياتهم للبقاء. وما تعلموه لم يُدوّن في الكتب، لكنه حُفِظ في المكان والممارسة والذاكرة. وتأريخ هذا لا يتم في المتاحف والمعارض فحسب بل هو نهجٌ حي علينا توريثه للأجيال القادمة من خلال أطر مصممة بوعي، تدرك خصوصية مجتمعنا
هذا هو العمل الذي كرّست نفسي له. لا لتوثيق ما كان، بل لتصميم ما يمكن أن يكون. إطار تعليمي يأخذ معرفة هذه الأرض وذاكرتها وحكمتها ويبني منها بنية تعلّم جديدة، لا تُضيف التراث إلى التعليم بل تبني التعليم من التراث
True education does not begin with a curriculum. It begins with the practices of the land it stems from.
The UAE has built educational systems of extraordinary ambition. This work does not stand apart from that, it goes deeper into it. Into the roots that make everything above them possible.
Our ancestors were not merely surviving، they were learning. And what they learned was not written in books. It was written in place, in practice, and in living memory.
I am not here to refine the existing system. I am here to propose something more unsettling; and more necessary. An educational framework built from the ground up. Literally. From the oasis, the falaj, the desert, the language, the knowledge holders, the living ecology of this place. Not a reform. A reimagining. This is the work I have dedicated my research to, and I believe it can change what education means in this part of the world.
